Firstly let me say “Happy New Year” from all the guys on the committee.

We're now into the fifth week for Premier and Champions Div, the new Super League passed the second week.  Last night it was good to see so many guys staying around after playing their matches, watching the next game having a few beers and a chat with their mates.  Isn't that what life's all about?.  Just a quick mention, firstly please be fair to the other teams in your league, if 3 or 4 of your players can't make it on the night, please don't call it off.  Let me know and one of the committee can always arrange floaters or other players to top up your team.  Next, you must check to see if your team is supposed to supply a referee, it's just not fair on the committee to have to chase up refs and not fair on the teams waiting for a ref before they can start play.
